Marsha K. Green

Marsha K. Green currently teaches applied piano and class piano. Ms. Green holds a Bachelor and Master Degree in Music History and Literature from Baylor University, and has completed class work for the Ph.D. in Musicology at the University of Iowa. Ms. Green also holds Professional Certificates in Piano and Music Theory from the Music Teachers National Association. In addition to her teaching activities at MCC, she has an independent piano studio and is an active adjudicator in piano. In her time away from teaching, she has worked in several organizations involved in advocacy for music and the arts at the state and local levels, and has been an active member of other bodies devoted to other areas of community improvement. She is a past president of the Waco Music Teachers Association, Texas Association for Symphony Orchestras, Waco Symphony Association and Waco Symphony Council. Ms. Green continues to serve on several of these boards.
